Privacy & Data Policy
ASG Tools (https://asggroups.in) is built on an architectural privacy guarantee rather than a promise: every tool on this platform executes 100% inside your browser using native Web APIs. There is no backend server that receives, processes or stores your tool inputs — the service could not see your data even if it wanted to. This page explains exactly what that means in practice, what little data does exist, and how it is handled.
Zero uploads by design
When you paste JSON, a JWT, an .env file, or drop an image into any tool on this site, the processing happens in your own browser tab using JavaScript, the Canvas API, the Web Audio API and the FileReader API. The bytes you provide are never transmitted to us or to any third party by the tool itself. You can verify this claim independently: open your browser’s developer tools, watch the Network tab, and use any tool — after the page loads, no request carries your input. Stronger still, once a tool page has loaded you can disconnect from the internet entirely and the tool continues to work, which is only possible because all computation is local.
Local storage & the credit system
The freemium credit system (guest limits, free-account credits, plan status) is stored exclusively in your browser’s localStorage under the key asg-credits. This record never leaves your device and is not an account: we do not receive a copy, and clearing your browser storage resets it. Tool preferences, recent selections and saved presets (where provided) are stored the same way. We do not operate user accounts with server-side profiles in Phase 1; the “free account” activation is a local upgrade of the same storage record.
Cookies & advertising
ASG Tools itself sets no tracking cookies. The platform reserves standard advertising placements (marked as such) that may, once the ad partner is enabled, be served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. Those networks may set their own cookies subject to their own policies, and where required we will present appropriate consent choices. Advertising never overlaps or obstructs tool workspaces, and ad placements are designed to reserve their layout space so nothing shifts while you work.
Analytics
We may collect aggregate, non-identifying usage analytics — page views and which tools are opened — to prioritize the roadmap. These analytics never include the content you paste or upload into tools, because such content is never accessible to the server in the first place. We do not build advertising profiles, sell data, or enrich any dataset with your tool inputs.
Your responsibilities with sensitive data
Because tools run locally, they are suitable for sensitive material — production JWTs, environment files with secrets, unreleased assets. Still, exercise ordinary caution: your browser extensions and screen-sharing software can see whatever your browser sees. The ASG Privacy Verified shield on each tool is our guarantee about this platform’s code; it cannot speak for other software running in your session.
